I like to listen to anything upbeat because its like a challenge for me. If I am running I will want to run at that pace but if I am weightlifting its like having a spotter cheering me on. Music usually being electronic/dance or Pop/Hip-Hop.

As said plenty times already, chin-ups are easily one of the top 5 compound exercises for your biceps. I advise you to get a pull-up/dip belt. This belt is like a regular weightlifting belt but has a chain equipped to it and allows you to add weights.
